Mission Statement
At Practical Logix, we love writing quality software that actually answers real business and real world problems. We deliver value rapidly as a minimum viable product to the market. With immediate feedback, the projects uncover what really works in the world. As the ecosystem of technology is always in swift progression, we truly understand the need for software support and maintenance to remain competitive. It’s our mission to contribute to an improved digital lifestyle for all by crafting useful and needed applications that our client’s users won’t want to live without.
Timeline
Founded in 2014 by a dynamic group of software engineers, Practical Logix was a company born to develop innovative software solutions. The founders quickly went to work serving prominent clients like TMZ, Warner Brothers and Directv (AT&T), and eventually developed advanced applications to serve the public sector with their transportation bottlenecks. Over the years, the development team at Practical Logix, headed by CEO Sreejith Partha, grew to include a globally diverse set of engineers, project managers, data scientists, and QA specialists, extending its capabilities well beyond the web and mobile. Now, Practical Logix is a full-service software development firm touching a wide range of software expertise including Cloud Engineering, GIS, Big Data, Analytics, UX/UI, DevOps, Agile Methodology, and critical Support and Maintenance.
Culture
Company Culture
We enjoy what we do, bottom line. That’s why we encourage work-life balance: appropriate parts work interwoven with appropriate parts play. That doesn’t mean we don’t burn the midnight oil every once in a while, but when we do, we do it with purpose and energy. To keep this results-based attitude we understand that schedules must remain flexible and we are adamant that we incorporate real rest time that not only avoids burnout, but stokes creativity. Because we’re a “self-education appreciation” workplace first, we tend to hire team members that share the same values of learning, self-improvement, and a desire to discover what’s new out there. And we love to share our new ideas over Happy Hour Team building time.

Daily Culture
No two days are the same, but we approach it that way. With our Global Team, we start each day with a Kickoff Session so that our members start on the same page. Then each team breaks out into Team Standups where yesterday’s work is discussed so that today’s pipeline is understood, this quick session breaks and everyone gets busy with their assignments. Of course, there is lunch, and maybe some play later in the day. Then after the later work sessions, we sometimes cap off the week with the Weekly Team Retro, a casual meeting were problem areas over the last week are discussed and played with, and like the coffee shops of old where there was collaboration for the sake of curiosity during this time some of the most creative ideas are generated cutting right through the heart of the issues we may be facing.
Core Values

Empathy

Accountability

Hard Work

Extra Mile

Support
Of the myriad of values companies can adopt, Practical Logix knew we wanted to put the client and the project first, so we wanted to see in our team members a few powerful values. The ability to connect with not only the client’s current needs, but see beyond into their future ambitions, was foremost on our minds—the value of Empathy. And when it came to the team, there must be an innate understanding by each member to own their role in the project, as well as the understanding that the team as a whole owns its role in the relationship with the client—the value of Accountability. Two more complementary values arose, the desire to chase down the project and simply get it done, the value of Hard Work, and the desire to push the limits and excel beyond expectations—the value of going the Extra Mile. After developing a great rapport with our clients, creating novel software application solutions for them, and delivering value to their end users, we don’t want to let them go alone into a world where technology is always advancing—the value of Support.
People
Practical Logix is an ever growing dynamic team of quality people. We’re always looking to find the next talent to join our team. Our team members have a deep drive inside themselves, and characteristically love to run toward new technology to see what developments improve our processes. We’re right-brained creative types in the field of software development who take ownership of our efforts, because accountability is one of our core values. And though we wouldn’t necessarily label ourselves do-gooders we really want to do good for the world, business, and ultimately our end users.
